NYC to Houston

21 April 2008 5 Comments

I’m still alive!

I left super early Thursday morning on a bus trip to New York City as a chaperone with a high school band and choir. We got home late Saturday night after a whirlwind tour, and Sunday afternoon I flew out for Houston for the Small Business Unleashed internet marketing conference I told you about a while ago.

So I’m here in Houston, Texas (enjoying warmth and green!) getting to know some awesome people and filling my head with lots of good information.

Once I get a chance, I’ll fill you in on…

  • the mounted police I saw at work in NYC
  • new blogging tips
  • building a community around your website
  • and the rest of the Unleashed conference

Happy blogging to all of you. I’ll be back to writing and commenting soon.

Glad you are okay. I have to tell you that you inspired me to get in touch with a NARHA center in my area to start volunteering again. Everytime I visit your blog (which is a lot) I see the “Horses as Cerebral Palsy Treatment” link and I get a pang of guilt for giving it up so easily. So thank you for making me feel bad so I can start doing something good. Assuming of course the center I contacted needs volunteers.

NuzzlingMuzzles and Arlene – coming eventually! (by the end of the week, I promise.)

On The Bit – Sorry to make you feel bad, but sooo glad to hear that hearing about therapeutic riding encouraged you to get involved again! I just love having such a beneficial way to share my experience and passion with other people. I know that’s important to you to. Let me know how it goes!
