Ace is Mine!

It’s official, Ace is going to be mine! His owner Cheryl and I worked out a deal that works well for the both of us, so it looks like I’ve finally got my very own horse.
I have created a separate blog to record and share our journey. Please check out Ace’s blog on Regarding Horses, and suscribe to the updates there if you’d like to join us. I will primarily update there about my horse (I’m totally not used to saying that yet!), and keep the focus of this blog discussion of equestrian world news, events, and issues.

Oh Jackie, I’m so happy for you, I’m sure you and Ace will have a wonderful time together. I know it’s a little scary but it will be so much fun, there is nothing like having your own horse to take care of and love. Congratulations and good luck.

Congratulations!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! The very first thing you need to order is a stall plate that says “Owned by” on it! You know all the highs and lows of owning a horse already so I know you are making a good choice! He is such a looker! I love the black spot markings on his left front sock! And you are never going to get away from Thoroughbreds now! Congratulations again though! I am so excited for you!

Thanks everyone for the well wishes and encouragement! We had a fun weekend showing off for friends and family, now it’s time to get down to business. I’m looking forward for some time to work together just the two of us.
