New Outdoor Stadium for World Equestrian Games

Work on the new outdoor stadium continues to progress (depite some unusual discoveries during excavation!) in preparation for the World Equestrian Games coming to Kentucky Horse Park in the fall of 2010. Here’s a great video created by the architects that show a 3-D animated version of the new facility when all is said and done. It definitely looks impressive!

How amazing would it be to ride in an arena like this? I know I won’t be competing at WEG, but maybe some day Ace and I will make down for some other kind of event. Or, at least just to visit.
