  1. OnTheBit says:

I like Acesential because it is one word, cute, and true.
My 2nd pick is Ace of Hearts because I came up with it and it is adorable!
My 3rd is Gambler’s Ace because it sounds good and if you ever do jumpers it is just the perfect name for that.

  2. greyhorsematters says:

    I like Gambler’s Ace because it’s a good name for a jumper.
Ace of Hearts because it’s just a good name to describe how you feel about him.
Audacious because that’s part of his personality.

I actually never sent any in because I couldn’t come up with something good. I did think of some though so I will leave those for you too. They’re not great but here goes: Face the Ace, Ace of Pace, Pacer Ace, Fair of Face, Top Ace, Icing on the Ace, Leather and Ace. Some of them are pretty lame but those are my brilliant ideas for a name.

  3. Jackie says:

Somehow, Audacious slipped by me when I was collecting ideas. It’s becoming a front-runner now that a few of you have brought it to my attention.

    au?da?cious
    [aw-dey-shuhs]–adjective
    1. extremely bold or daring; recklessly brave; fearless: an audacious explorer. (he gallops recklessly around small enclosures when he’s feeling good, sometimes forgetting there are walls)
    2. extremely original; without restriction to prior ideas; highly inventive: an audacious vision of the city’s bright future. (highly inventive? how shall he thwart my next training move…)
    3. recklessly bold in defiance of convention, propriety, law, or the like; insolent; brazen. (pooping in his water bucket definitely defies convention)
    4. lively; unrestrained; uninhibited: an audacious interpretation of her role. (uninhibited? again, pooping in his water bucket)

oops, I forgot that I wasn’t going to give away my favorites yet.

  4. Jennie says:

    Hiya,
I love audacious. Love it. I also love Genuine–there’s something about a name like “Genuine” that makes you love a horse instantly.
    Good luck!

  5. Suzie says:

I’m not suggesting it, but one of the boys at my stables when I was a kid had a horse called Ace – it was really his Mum’sd horse and his official name was Ace of Spades. Imagine how mortified she was when she went to watch her beloved son ride him at a show and found he’d entered him as ‘Kiss My Ace’!!

  6. shadowsrider says:

Well, I like Audacious, but also Ascension, Play the Ace, Red Baron (he was an Ace), Acceleration.
    From Latin:
acer : sharp, keen, eager, severe, fierce
