I am almost ready to make a final decision on Ace’s show name. It’s come down to the final three …
Ascension
Audacious
Acesential
I know lots of you liked Ace of Hearts, and I did too, but I’m guessing it’s a little less unique. And I really like the one word names. These were some of the front runners based on your comments. They are also the ones I like best.
So, this is your final chance to weigh in. You can make your selection using the poll below, leave a comment with which you like and why, or even better – do both!
I may or may not choose the majority preference, but I sure would like to know what you think anyway.

I voted for Acension because I feel like that is what he is doing…coming out from the dark. That and Texas’s real name means to rise from the ashes so our boys could have matchy names
I like Audacious. It isn’t quite as obvious as the names that begin with “Ace”, and I like the meaning: daring and bold, and a little bit sassy.
I had to go with Ascension even though most people chose Audacious. I liked the daring and bold aspect of audacious but not the insolent and rash aspect implying “insultingly contemptuous”…too much like some obnoxious high school student. Ascension on the other hand implies rising to a higher level which is a good thing whether you choose jumping or dressage.
I liked Ascension best – it implies ‘movement’ in the name, and that’s what you’ve been working so hard on. Audacious has slightly negative connotations and I thought Ascential didn’t connect.
So, Audacious and Ascension were my top two. I like the physical/mental implications of Ascension, although it seems a little too lofty for my slightly goofy boy. I like the quirkier implications of Audacious, and kinda was leaning that way.
Jane – you may have just sold me on Ascension. May seem a little lofty, but it gives us something important to work up to.
