Get The Inside Scoop On Your Favorite Three Day Eventing Riders & Their Horses!
When I was in Lexington a few weeks ago I had the distinct pleasure of meeting a wonderful fellow blogger, Courtney, who publishes the Three Days Three Ways blog. She started last April interviewing all the top three day event riders and posting the inside scoop on her blog. She has a knack for getting the good stories and funny quirks – not just the typical “how did you get into horses” kinda stuff. I’m gonna guess that Courtney’s friendly, fun, and quirky side brings that out in her interviewees during their discussions.
So far, she’s dished the scoop on riders like Phillip Dutton, Boyd Martin, Amy Tryon, and Jimmy Wofford. And I happen to know that she also has some other really big names slated for interviews in the near future!
Courtney and Three Days Three Ways were also featured on the latest episode of the Stable Scoop, Best of the Horsey Web. Go Courtney (and good Regarding Horses friend Glenn the Geek)!
Very much like me, Courtney grew up riding and showing horses, and is getting back into them in recent years after putting them on the backburner during college. You should have seen the two of us oogling the lesson ponies plodding around the indoor arena at the Kentucky Horse Park during our event in the conference room above. We were like two horse crazy girls together (and we purposely put our backs to the viewing window so we could concentrate on our meet-up rather than the horses in the ring below). Some things just get worse with age …
So if you love eventing, be sure to go check out Three Days Three Ways and subscribe so that you never miss an article. And if you aren’t an eventer, go read and subscribe anyways – because it’s all about horse people and their horses – and who doesn’t love that?
And if you check it out before the end of the day today, you can enter to win a pair of beautiful Devoucoux eventing boots for your best equine friend.
