News: AT&T will expand its cell phone and wireless Internet service at the Kentucky Horse Park during the Alltech FEI World Equestrian Games, as part of a package in which the company has been declared an official sponsor of the Games.
News: If you are going to attend the upcoming Alltech FEI World Equestrian Games, you probably have one very important question: How long will I sit in traffic waiting to get into the Kentucky Horse Park?
News: The Canadians have announced their Dressage and Reining Teams for the Alltech FEI World Equestrian Games next month here in Lexington, Kentucky.
News: A big week for the US endurance riders as they contest their final trial for the endurance team for the 2010 Alltech FEI World Equestrian Games, in Danville, Illinois, but sadly one of the US’s best hopes, Valerie Kanavy does not think that the trial and the three weeks training in Shaker Village, KY is to her advantage, and so has withdrawn from WEG consideration.
News: The two week long final selection trials for the US dressage team for the World Equestrian Games continue, and Tina Konyot and her horse Kalecto are off to a flying start.
News: Some sad news from the dressage scene: Dominican Republic Grand Prix rider Yvonne Losos de Muniz lost her WEG mount Optimus Prime last week when he had to be put down because of laminitis. Yvonne had been campaigning Optimus Prime since buying him last December and they were qualified to compete at the WEG as individuals.
News: Eventers in the US and England were busy this past weekend giving their WEG hopeful horses a run, albeit conservatively, at the Millbrook Horse Trials in New York, and at the Gatcombe Festival of British Eventing.
News: Dr Lyons, president and founder of Alltech, the sponsor of the 2010 World Equestrian Games, celebrates 50 days until the opening ceremonies, and his birthday.
News: The Alltech FEI World Equestrian Games will start celebrating early with it’s own version of the Olympic Flame.
