One thing I like about being home by myself is that I can leave my bedroom door open and let my kitties come sleep with me. Rooney is usually all over that one. But the first night Ben was gone, my college roommate came over for the night and those little traitors both slept with her. And they just pester me at ridiculously early morning hours until I have to shut them out anyway.

My husband calls me the crazy cat lady, due to the fact that the two furry little beasts pretty much follow me wherever I go. It’s not as bad as all that, since they sleep in different rooms during the day. And they really do their own thing for a lot of the day. I promise.
But one surefire way to get both of them to shadow me is to take a bath. And I loooooovvveee taking baths.

I figure that anybody who loves horses also tends to love animals in general. We’re typically surrounded by a menagerie of pets, whether it cats and dogs or llamas, alpaca, goats, chickens, cows, birds, guinea pigs, hamsters, fish, whatever.
