USEF Names World Equestrian Games Show Jumping Long List

Following the USEF Show Jumping Selection Trials that took place over five events in Wellington, Florida last week, the long list for the 2010 World Equestrian Games.
Here are the riders who have a shot at making the team of 5 to represent the US in show jumping at WEG.

World Equestrian Games Show Jumping Selection Trials Underway

It’s been two years since I wrote my first post outlining the upcoming World Equestrian Games. Then it felt like this nebulous future event that wasn’t really real, and now it’s little more than half a year away! To this fan, it finally feels like this is finally happening now that trials to select the show jumping shortlist for the US team are underway.

FEI World Equestrian Games Competition Schedule & Ticket Prices

As of summer 2009, this is the competition schedule (with ticket prices) for the World Equestrian Games coming to Lexington, Kentucky September 25-October 10, 2010. While the schedule is mostly accurate, it is subject to change before the event. I will be sure to update it as any changes are made.
Television coverage of the World Equestrian Games will be provided by NBC Sports. I’m guessing online streaming will be available also. I’ll post as soon as more information is available.

2010 World Equestrian Games Ticket Pricing

Ticket prices for the World Equestrian Games being held in Lexington, Kentucky from September 25-October 10, 2010 have been released.
Ticket prices and event start times have been finalized for the eight world championships, which are being held outside of Europe for the first time in their history. Tickets will go on sale September 25, 2009, exactly one year before the Games arrive in Kentucky. Approximately 600,000 tickets will be available with prices starting as low as $25.
Ticket prices vary by day and stage of the competition.
